This year marks the 5 year anniversary of his career-changing EP ‘Happiness in Liquid Form’ and to celebrate Alfie & Chess Club Records are excited to announce a vinyl reissue of this seminal EP – pressed exclusively for Record Store Day 2026.
With the original 10” vinyl pressed in small quantity and sold out on pre-order, this 12” reissue comes in the form of a picture disc vinyl featuring the original EP on Side A, containing 2 of his most beloved fan favourites ‘Things I Thought Were Mine’ & ‘Happiness in Liquid Form’, as well as his collaboration with label mates Coach Party, ‘My Best Friend’.
Side B boasts 2 never-before-heard tracks from the Happiness in Liquid Form era, ‘Only One’ and ‘Endlessly’, both produced by The Vaccines founding member & drummer Pete Robertson whose production credits include Beabadoobee, Hinds, Jane’s Addiction, Keo.
Side B also features live & acoustic versions of breakout single ‘Happiness in Liquid Form’ performed for VEVO DSCVR, which combined have amassed almost 200k views on YouTube.
