Composer and artist, Jim Ghedi crafts, a new folk cannon with his epic ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ Original Soundtrack.
Droning harmoniums and hurdy gurdy lay a thick bed of sound for soaring fiddle melodies, with Ghedi’s signature wailing vocal occasionally floating on top in this wholly unique approach to film score.
Already known for pushing the bounds of folk music on his album, ‘Wasteland’, Ghedi’s fresh approach to traditional folk music made him the ideal pairing for director Michael Sarnoski’s dark reimagining of the classic tale of Robin Hood.
