*NEW* 13 Year Anniversary Tee Shirt

In celebration of 13 WHOLE years open as a record and pie shop, it seems our anniversary tee has become a ‘thing’. And we are delighted to keep that going!

We wanted to invite another amazing artist that’s locally based. With the brief to reinterperate our logo anyway you see fit, this year we are delighted to work with an up and coming artist – More from the designer below.

‘I am Maria Veronica Vazquez Teles, a junior animator and artist inspired by bright colours and fantasy settings. Many of my ideas are inspired by the power of music, leading me to daydream and be inspired by the tunes.

The inspiration for the T-shirt’s concept was the infamous story of “Moby Dick” and Portsmouth’s naval history. I wanted the T-shirt design to be a subtle storytelling piece which encompasses the fun aesthetic of Pie & Vinyl, as well as having references to the city. Bright purples, pinks and yellows were combined with black halftones to give the design a retro feel, akin to comics or old newspaper illustrations.’

Printed using 4 bespoke paint colours on a high quality Premium Tee.

Hand screen painted detail on the front, and limited to 100 tee shirts.

Printed by local legend Tristan from Strong Island Clothing, with the upmost care and passion.

The latest anniversary tee’s were announced on our birthday – 13 years to the day we first opened our doors on the 6th April 2012.
