Peter Gabriel follows 2023’s i/o with companion album oi, a collection concerned with the future and humanity’s response to technological change. Recorded at Real World Studios, the album considers the impact of AI, quantum computing and brain-computer interfaces through Gabriel’s characteristically thoughtful songwriting. Contributors include Brian Eno, Tony Levin, David Rhodes, Josh Shpack and Paolo Fresu, with orchestral arrangements by John Metcalfe and Gabriel. The album also features two distinct mixes and artwork commissioned from leading visual artists.
